At Woods Scavengers, we do firewood differently — because you deserve better than a soggy pile of mystery wood from a sketchy Facebook post. Our business is built around real relationships, reliable service, and clean, burnable firewood — cut to your specs and delivered when you need it.
💰 Pricing & What You’re Getting
We offer both Softwood and Hardwood — delivered by the cord or in smaller bundles for campers and backyard burners.
Standard Firewood Rates:

Softwood (Typically Hemlock or Fir mixed)
▸ $225 per cord (1-2 cords)
▸ $200 per cord (3+ cords)
Hardwood (Alder, Maple, etc. — based on availability)
▸ $275 per cord (1-2 cords))
▸ $250 per cord (3+ cords)
Important:
This firewood is burnable — but it is not seasoned. It has been split and processed fresh, meaning it's clean and ready to use upon delivery.
For best results, we recommend splitting it smaller once stacked — this helps it dry faster and burn cleaner.

🌲 Seasoned Firewood (Limited – Reserve Early!)
Each year we process and dry a small batch (~4 cords) of seasoned wood:

We begin accepting orders in August — and these sell fast. Perfect for customers who can’t season their own or want a ready-to-burn winter supply.
📆 Best Time to Order & Schedule Delivery
If you plan to burn wood in 2026, we recommend you place your order and schedule your delivery between October and March (the year before). This gives you time to:

Our kindling is made from a mix of different woods sourced locally — including offcuts from local mills and storm-fallen trees donated by private landowners. We take this free wood and carefully process it into clean, dry kindling bundles perfect for starting fires quickly and easily.

Great for a few backyard fires or casual stove use. About the size of a 5-gallon bucket when stacked. -
🔸 Family Bundle (~3–4 cu ft)
Designed for regular wood stove users who need reliable starts each week. Equivalent to a small tote or large moving box. -
🔺 Homestead Bundle (~6–8 cu ft)
Ideal for off-grid homes or anyone burning daily. A compact, stackable supply that keeps you covered through the cold months.
